A Haunting at The Anchorage
Interface Death and Shadowforge Studios present their second installment to their sixth YouTube series "Interface Death: Reborn" called A Haunting at the Anchorage. Built in 1859 by Douglas Putnam for his wife Eliza, The Anchorage was formally known as the Putnam Villa, a stunning Italiante style mansion constructed from sandstone that may have been a part of the underground railroad. This would be Eliza's dream home, despite passing away from heart problems a few years after the construction. This is where the haunting is believed to have started. Eliza is seen in the tower and wondering through her favorite areas of the house in ghost form. Years later, Douglas would meet his own death and join Eliza in the home, his ghost being seen in windows and throughout the structure. The mansion would later be converted into a rest home which would add to the history and spiritual layers of the building. In the 1980's, the rest home closed and the building remained abandoned for two decades before the local historical society would bring it back to life, discovering that the history is not only palpable but still very much alive. Join the team as they continue their scientific research in the psychic phenomena and nature of hauntings in this very historic location in Marietta, OH.
